Employment tribunal fees scrapped after Supreme Court rules fees unlawful

The Supreme Court has unanimously ruled that the government was acting unlawfully and unconstitutionally when it introduced employment tribunal fees four years ago. As a result employment tribunal fees will now be scrapped, and those who have paid will be refunded. However, this may not be the end of a fees regime as the government will "consider the detail of the judgment".
