Dark, Darker, Darkest?

I thought we were crawling out of the dark hole and I hoped this might be the year we would go back on track, but the mood is very somber indeed. When we came back from last year's summer holidays I expressed everybody's hope, that business would pick up. Unfortunately all of us know that it was wishful thinking. Again we are on the threshold of a new season, winter 1999/2000, when tanners should receive new bulk orders from their buyers. The winter season is the most leather intensive of the four seasons, therefore, if we don't sell now, when will we?
