Stocks of internet related companies that weren't worth a penny last year shot up gaining huge value because these companies deal in a form of trading that will become extremely important. Amazon.com is one of the biggest examples. Time Magazine dedicated a lot of space to Amazon.com and its founder last year in their Person of the Year issue, not without reason. Most of the big department stores and mail order companies have their own site where you can purchase a large range of articles on-line.
