INESCOP presents an environmentally-friendly alternative for leather tanning

INESCOP, aware of the environmental pressure exerted on the leather industry, coordinates the European project Oxatan (Environmentally friendly oxa-zolidine-tanned leather), with the objective of demonstrating, promoting and diffusing an alternative chrome-free tanning technique that can improve the environmental impact which is currently generated by the leather industry.
