Indotel launches new company in the Dominican Republic

The Dominican Institute of Telecommunications (Indotel) has unveiled a new firm Triple-play which would specialize in the provision of triple-play services comprising broadband, telephony, and IPTV to the rural parts of Dominican Republic. Dominican investors unveiled this new firm in the Restauraci n district on August 1. According to Jos Rafael V argas, the president of Indotel, the company is making its entry at a time when telecom operators are required to take advantage of the convergence phenomenon.
