Megacable to resell Movistar's wireless service

Megacable, Mexico's largest cable broadband operator by subscribers, has signed a deal with Spanish telecoms giant Telefonica that will allow it to sell the wireless voice services of the latter's local subsidiary, Movistar Mexico. Megacable said that it aims to offer mobile telephony in those main cities in which its own hybrid fiber-coaxial (HFC) network is present by the end of 2010.
