The government of Bermuda has blocked plans to push a new telecoms reform bill through the House of Assembly before the summer recess, according to local newspaper The Royal Gazette, which quotes a spokesman for the Ministry of Energy, Telecommunications and E-Commerce (METEC).rnMichael Scott, the country's minister of energy, telecommunications, and e-commerce, recently said that he would table the Regulatory Authority Act and the Electronic Communications Act bills by "next Friday," to be voted on before the summer recess.
