Telefonica de Argentina selects Comptel mediation platform

Finland-based Comptel Corporation has announced that Telefonica de Argentina has chosen its Convergent Mediation platform for the collection and transformation of its more than 130 million daily network transactions. Telefonica de Argentina aims to improve its operational processes and achieve organizational synergies for the delivery and charging of its advanced fixed services. The deployment will provide a foundation for managing the Spanish-owned operator's fixed business, and will also prepare for the future convergence of its mobile services operations.
