Huawei opens second Chile data center, plans more throughout LatAm

"Our plans to open different cloud nodes in Latin America are in progress. The one in Chile has been opened already," said Funes. The new facility is located in the metropolitan region of capital Santiago, like the company's first space inaugurated in August 2019. The Chinese telecommunications giant has three cloud regions in Latin America: in Brazil, where a new data center was announced earlier this year, in Chile, which serves Argentina, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay, and in Mexico, which covers Central America and the Caribbean, Colombia and Ecuador.
