FiberCorp adds IBM device management service to security offer

Business-oriented Argentinian ISP FiberCorp (Telecom Argentina) has again joined forces with IBM to launch its security-focused Unified Device Management service. The product incorporates the IBM MaaS360 service to help customers secure devices such as smartphones, tablets and laptops via a cloud-based delivery platform that adapts to the needs of each business. The Unified Endpoint Management service allows companies to provide mobility to workers without compromising the security of the data, while preventing excessive consumption by controlling the device via a centrally managed platform. It's the third IBM solution to join the portfolio of security products offered by FiberCorp following the commercial agreement signed last year.
