Mexican operators sharing user location data in Mexico City to curb Covid-19

Mexico's digital agency for public innovation (ADIP) announced an agreement with local operators to anonymously track population movements in Mexico City as part of efforts to control the spread of coronavirus. The agency confirmed that operators have been providing data since 25 March with a view to identifying whether people in the city are following lockdown orders.
