Telmex launches Mexico City free Wi-Fi rollout

America Movils Telmex unit has begun activating its first free Wi-Fi hotspots throughout Mexico City, reports Xataka Mexico. An initial 39 hotspots installed on the capital's new C5 surveillance cameras have already gone live with 500 due to be activated by the end of March, rising by 1,000 to 1,500 a month to reach 14,500 by the end of the vear, said the report.
