Brazil grows to 30.3 million fixed broadband connections in June

Brazil had 30.30 million fixed broadband connections in June, up by 121,284 from the previous month, according to data released by the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel). Compared to June last year, there was an increase of 2.49 million contracts. DSL technology was the most used in the country with 12.87 million contracts in June. Second was cable modem with 9.25 million, followed by optical fiber with 4.13 million.
