The Internet protocol-telephone has a digital subscriber line (DSL)-broadband connection. A network termination broadband access (NTBBA) and a network termination broadband signal (NTBBS) (3) are combined in a common housing (1) with switching units (2) to form timing device for asymmetric and symmetric DSL-broadband connections. A power supply medium (5) is provided with a direct current (DC)-converter for converting a DC feed voltage in the DSL-broadband connection into a voltage for the NTBBA, NTBBS, function units (4), internet access and the switching units.
