CREATING SIMPLE PRONGS is a fantastic way to show off a deserving stone as prongs cover very little of the stone while holding it securely in place. Prong-set drusy steals the show in this project but has a winning cast of textured copper and sterling silver moons and teardrops, all soldered carefully to a sterling silver collar for a regal choker. Design variations are endless. Once you've mastered the prong-making skill, it'd be easy to whip up complementary earrings or a cuff.
