No Touch Shoreline Restoration

No Touch Shoreline Restoration is a process developed by Lake Rip Rap Inc. to economically control shoreline erosion and develop shoreline habitat by methods that minimize environmental impact. With this method, erosion control structures are built by specialized boats, without excavation and no heavy equipment is used on the surrounding slopes. The following is a repoit of a project at Gillespie, Illinois, which utilized this method extensively.
