Fish Friendly Urban Creek Stabilization

Hastings Creek is a small urban stream that is considered one of the most important small fish-bearing streams in North Vancouver, BC. The creek originates on the east slope of Grouse Mountain and meanders its way through several parks, commercial areas and residential areas before joining other tributaries and ultimately the Pacific Ocean. For over 200 years, Hastings Creek and its numerous tributaries made up the prime spawning and rearing area for steelhead, Coho and Chinook salmon.
