Habitat mapping in Romania

摘要

Little research has been carried out on the ecology (flora, fauna, habitats) of the Danube floodplains on the Romanian-Bulgarian border. In the communist era, the ecology was considered unimportant and large areas of floodplain were embanked and converted into agricultural land.
