摘要

As water management is an ever-changing and complex issue, WL ∣ Delft Hydraulics is expanding and improving its innovative research and technological expertise in the field. Today, there is a growing need for integrated solutions based on the latest technologies. As a result, the integration of remote sensing data with other spatial data - for example numerical modelling results and non-spatial data such as field measurements - has become a major part of WL ∣ Delft Hydraulics' research effort. These innovative data-model integration (DMI) techniques are defined as the approach and methods required to use modelling in combination with remote sensing and field data in a structured way, the aim being to obtain an optimal information product tailored to end user needs.
