摘要

A field test was performed on a driven group of steel piles to examine the horizontal load fraction carried by each pile. Three-dimensional elasto-plastic FEM analysis was employed to evaluate the results of the field test. Good agreement was obtained comparing with the results of test and analysis, thus being ascertained the validity of the three-dimensional FEM analysis. The analytical method was further used to study the effects of soil properties and three-dimensional geometrical configuration of the pile group.
