A Study on the Establishment of Materials Procurement System for the Housing Construction

Life Cycle Cost performance is regarded relatively because the value of property is not fluctuated by time. As potential demand for a brick house has been increasing, we expect that the mass-production of brick houses will start near future. However, the production system of brick houses has not been constructed yet. In this study, the materials procurement system of a brick house within procurement process, which is a part of construction process, was analyzed and considered. And the materials procurement system of brick house was proposed and used as an experimental case. The conclusions are as follows:1) The evaluation function of materials procurement system was proposed. 2) The materials procurement system of brick house was used to procure the materials of brick house from Australia, and the outstanding cost performance with the system was shown. 3) The skeletal structure of CPS (cyber procurement system), which was able to apply to the massproduction of brick house was proposed. After this study, we will examine if it is actually able to use to procure the materials of brick house with the CPS.
