Unifi to increase domestic Repreve capacity by 70%

Unifi is planning to produce 70% more of its eco-friendly yarns domestically once it has increased the operating capacity at its Repreve recycling centre in Yadkinville, North Carolina. Roger Berrier, junior president and COO at Unifi, said: "We expect the machinery for the third line in the Repreve recycling centre to arrive in late March 2014. And we will have the new equipment online in our fourth quarter this year."
