Crochet and warp knitting machinery manufacturer, Comez, is to exhibit alongside Jakob Muller AG at Techtextil 2015. The two combined forces last year. Comez is to exhibit its Comez Acotronic 8B/600, a high efficiency electronic crochet knitting machine using compound needles, for production of a wide range of ribbons, technical and medical textiles, both elastic and non-elastic, said the company. The machine comes in gauge 15 n.p.i., with a 600mm working width and is fitted with eight weft bars with electronic control. The compound needle is said to render the machine versatile as it allows processing in the warp of natural yarns (cotton, wool) as well as synthetic yarns (polyester, polyamide) and special fibres (Kevlar, fibreglass, carbon), said Comez.
