Kelheim Fibres develops static dissipative viscose fibre

Kelheim Fibres has developed a new viscose fibre said to provide static dissipation. The German producer of viscose speciality fibres said that the black fibre receives its specific properties thiough the incorporation of electrically conductive additives into the fibre's core. As a result, according to the company, the functional additives are evenly distributed in the whole fibre, while at the same time the typical properties of the viscose fibre, such as its high absorbency, are preserved.
