Barrell Bourbon seeks out the best barrels and batches of whiskey, wherever they may be. Two of the company's products - Barrell Bourbon Batch 005 and Barrell Whiskey Batch 001 - are now available through Kentucky Eagle Distributing, Inc. Every batch of Barrell Bourbon is cask strength and has a distinctive flavor profile, says company owner Joe Beatrice. The profile of each batch depends on many factors such as the mash bill, distillation type, barrel char level, distillery of origin and -- most importantly -- the selection of barrels chosen for that batch. As stated on the company's website, "Left alone, these products would likely be forgotten or blended with other whiskeys, forfeiting their unique flavor and style. To preserve the singular characteristics of each batch, Barrell Bourbon bottles all our whiskeys at cask strength. We take pride in our efforts to preserve and present unique whiskeys to bourbon connoisseurs worldwide. We want them to experience each product's true flavor."
