The Continuing Story of the Interwoven Workshops

Our Interwoven workshops, which began with the spinning of a fibre new to us (issue 210 p.17) and the dyeing of the fibre with indigo, continued with weaving yardage and sewing with handwoven cloth. The workshops were designed to enable our members to pick and mix what they wished to do. We were encouraged to use the spun yarn from the first workshop through to a finished article. Non-weavers, or those who preferred to make something else, used the workshop to make items using their chosen technique. In this way everyone who wished to take part could be involved.
