Shuttle Power

I have been a Design Engineer for over fifty years and have designed and made special purpose textile machinery, including several looms. Here is a digest of my notes made during the design and development of a possibly novel shuttle mechanism. In 1733 John Kay patented the Fly Shuttle Device. Although superseded in mainstream industry, this device has remained in use, unchanged, in the hand weaver and creative craft fields.
