In the last issue it was explained that each participant in the Bowmont Fleece Challenge had received approximately 150g of fleece with the guidelines that they could prepare it in their chosen way then spin, felt, knit, crochet or weave to produce a finished article which they thought suitable to the Bowmont Fleece. The following reports are from the remaining six participants: Myra Ryan - Clwyd Guild What a lovely fleece! I have never come across a Bowmont sheep before but as soon as I teased out some locks and flick-carded a few tips I could see its promise obviously very fine wool with a nice crimp down its length.
