An Interview with Jenny Dean

Jenny Dean is one of the country's foremost natural dyers, who lives and works in West Sussex. She creates, writes, teaches and describes herself as a handspinner, knitter, basic weaver and general textile enthusiast. Jenny has researched and used natural dyes for more than 40 years, written excellent books on the subject, and is currently running her second consecutive year-long course at Ditchling Museum which integrates traditional and experimental approaches to the process of natural dyeing.
