The process of treating galvanizing bath rinsing water by electrodialysis method with dialysate chamber filled with Fiban-K cation exchange fiber was investigated. The relationship between electromi-gration of zinc ions and electric current density was shown to have a maximum value within a range of 8-12 mA/cm~2. Within this range the electromigration flow of zinc ions in the presence of ion exchange fiber increases by ~20%, transport of hydrogen ions reaches 11.3% of the total flow of cations, residual concentration of zinc ions in dialysate in quasi-stationary mode at a current density of >10 mA/cm~2 does not exceed 2-4 mg/dm~3, and without chamber loaded-10-15 mg/dm~3.
