Purification of wastewaters, containing chromium, by a sorbent based on blast furnace slag

The article has substantiated the possibility of purification of concentrated wastewaters containing chromium by blast furnace slag. We showed high efficiency of a sorbent. It has been found that high degree of purification of wastewaters is ensured both by chemical effect and adsorption. We have determined kinetic characteristics of main reactions.
