摘要

A theoretical method is presented to analyze magnetothermoelastic waves and perturbation of the magnetic field vector produced by thermal shock in a solid conducting cylinder. By means of finite integral transforms the exact expressions for magne-tothermodynamic stress and perturbation response of an axial magnetic field vector in a solid cylinder were obtained. From sample numerical calculations the focusing effect on both magnetothermostress and perturbation of the axial magnetic field vector is revealed and is discussed.
