In this study, a thermal elastic-plastic stress analysis is carried out o simply supported symmetric cross-ply (0°/90°)_2 and angle-ply(5°/85°)_2, (15°/-15°)_2, (30°/-30°)_2, (45°/-45°)_2, (60°/60)_2, (15°/60°)_2, (15°/75°)_2°, (75°/-75°)_2 aluminum metla- matrix laminated plates under the uniform temperature distribution across the thickness of the plates. The Tsai-Hill criterion is used as a yield criterion. Differential equations are solved with a sufficiently large number of integration intervals of the temperature.
