SOLUTION FOR A CURVILINEAR CRACK IN A THERMOELASTIC MEDIUM

摘要

A problem of a circular arc-shaped crack in an infinite plate under the thermal loading (heat flux at infinity) is solved using the integral equation method. The solution technique is effective in derivation and compact in form. The obtained closed-form solution is a general one that can be applied to any arc angle of the arc crack.
