The procedure for sealing of solution-free and salt solution-guiding cracks and/or pathways in a layer of evaporite rock, salt slack and technical building materials with salt components, for encapsulating pollutant-filled cavities and for the sealing of contact areas between evaporite rock and technical building materials by using silicic acid containing solution as injection material, comprises directly injecting the solution with a fracture pressure into the cracking system without hard chemicals and displacing the solution with sulfate ion.
