摘要

The H + CD4 reaction is the prototypical abstraction reaction occurring at an sp~3-hybridized carbon atom.It also plays a role in combustion chemistry and has features that distinguish it from well understood triatomic reactions.Furthermore,as the simplest six-atom system,it has served as a testing ground for new theoretical methods.
