摘要

Gold nanorods(NRs)have many potential applications because their longitudinal plasmon band(LPB)is highly sensitive to their aspect ratios.Methods that have been developed for preparing Au NRs include electrochemical deposition,photochemistry,and seed-mediated synthesis.The introduction of Ag~+ in growth solutions significantly improves the yield of Au NRs.
