On 27 October 2013, Journal of Structural Geology editor Bill Dunne handed the award to John Singleton (at left) in Denver, CO, USA The "Student Author of the Year Award" is made for an outstanding paper in which an undergraduate or graduate student played a key role in the research and publication. The recipient of this award for 2013 is John Singleton for his contribution, co-authored with Sharon Mosher.
