Analysis of a Canister Projectile System

摘要

For a specified canister projectile system, a detailed one-dimensional procedure to calculate the dynamics of the projectile is presented. The procedure takes into account the radiative and convective heat transfer processes within the canister that houses a solid-propellant gas generator. Also, using the derived equations, a brief discussion is presented of the method used to size the canister and the gas generator that deliver the specified dynamics of the projectile.
