摘要

The research findings suggest that the market orientation of small and medium- sized enterprises in Taiwan is a critical determinant of its business performance, employees' organizational commitment, and esprit de corps. This is consistent with the research findings for large U.S. firms. Specifically, intelligence genera- tion appears to be the key requirement in achieving higher overall performance, and organizational responsiveness is strongly related to employees' organiza- tional commitment and esprit de corps. This study also identifies several fac- Tors that influence market orientation.
