The products of 1,3-dihydroxybenzene interaction in perchloric acid

摘要

A mixture of solid compounds was obtained by keeping 1,3-dihydroxybenzene solution in 70% perchloric acid at room temperature. It has been found by using different methods that the predominant compound separated from the hydroxide solution of solid products belongs to polyphenolc ethers.
