摘要

The synthesis and magnetostriction of Pr_xTb_(1-x)Fe_2, Pr_xTb_(1-x)Fe_2B_(0.2) and Pr_xTb_(1-x)(Fe_(0.6)CO_(0.4))_2 alloys were investigated in this study. The addition of boron or cobalt atom in Pr_xTb_(1-x)Fe_2 could effectively prevent the formation of non-cubic phases, and Pr concentration limit was successfully increased from 0.2 to 0.4. X-ray step scanning for the Pr_xTb_(1-x)Fe_2B_(0.2) and Pr_xTb_(1-x)(Fe_(0.6)Co_(0.4))_2 alloys showed that PrFe_2 possessed a large spontaneous magnetostriction λ_(111).
