Religion, state and third sector in England

摘要

The revived significance of religion at the end of the 20th century throughout Europe poses important issues about the role of religious bodies, their beliefs and their relations with the state. In England, the state has attempted to reach various forms of accommodation with newly assertive faith groups. The approach taken by government is explored as is the provision of public education by religious bodies.
