Transmission of femtosecond laser pulses through an optical fiber

This article discusses questions of how the pulse width of a femtosecond fiber laser, its spectrum, and the envelope of its spectrum vary when the pulse passes through single-mode and multimode quartz optical fibers about 1m long.
