The photograph on the cover shows an aerial view of Aquarion's Putnam Reservoir and 20 mgd Putnam Water Treatment Plant (WTP). At the treatment plant you can see a large new clearwell in the foreground, with sedimentation basins (one covered and one uncovered) behind and raw and treated water pump stations in front. The main filter building is adjacent to the sedimentation basins. The 0.5 MG, 160-foot elevated Putnam High Service Tank is next to the reservoir.
