New England Water Works Association 2017-2018 Council Reports

I am pleased to report that the Association has continued to make progress this past year filling Chairs for the Standards Council. In 2018 NEWWA solicited for new Chairs in the Source on three occasions, and other members have directly solicited their peers to get involved. I plan on continuing to work with the membership to both recruit members and solicit vacant Chair positions. It is also recommended that NEWWA continue to list these openings in newsletters and by other means. We should also continue to remind members at all organized meetings that there are both openings and available Chairs positions for a number of committees. There are only 3 Standards Committee Chairs to fill!
