摘要

The status of rolling of intermetallic two-phase γ-TiAl based alloys is described. As prematerials both cast and subsequently forged ingots and hot isostatic pressed pre-alloyed powder compacts were used. The results are presented and the impact of the differently processed prematerials on the sheet quality is discussed. The influence of heat-treatments on the microstructure and thus on the mechanical properties of γ-TiAl based alloy sheets is presented. Superplastic deformation behavior is observed for temperatures exceeding 900℃. The results of sheet forming by means of superplastic forming and other forming techniques are illustrated.
