摘要

A machining strategy for milling a particular set of pockets with Epitrochoidal boundary is proposed. The method is suitable for a new class of machine codes for the specification of Pythagorean-hodograph (PH) curve tool paths, and associated feed rate functions, The PH curves are a special family of free-form curves, compatible with the Bezier/B-spline representations of CAD systems and integrating advanced programming capabilities into the control of a modern CNC system. The new programming capabilities were developed and tested in the framework of a PC-based milling machine controller. The program algorithms have been developed for different profile Bezier/B-spline (PH) curve. After the development of algorithm for the required canned cycle so that Pythagorean-hodograph curve can be machining.
