ON INSTABILITY OF A ROTATING ELASTOPLASTIC COMPOSITE PLANE CIRCULAR DISK

We propose a procedure of investigating the possible stability loss of a rotating composite plane circular disk by the method of small parameter. In a first approximation, we have obtained a characteristic equation for the critical radius of the plastic zone. Critical angular velocities of rotation for different parameters of the disk have been calculated numerically.
