Preparation and microwave absorbing performance of MoS_2@ Fe_3O_4@PANI composites

MoS_2@Fe_3O_4@PANI composites were prepared by hydrothermal and in-suit polymerization reaction, MoS_2@Fe_3O_4 composites were fabricated by hydrothermal reaction in the presence of MoS_2 nanosheets. Then, MoS_2@ Fe_3O_4@PANI composites were successfully synthesized by in-suit polymerization of aniline monomer on the surface of MoS_2@Fe_3O_4 composites. All the samples were characterized by scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Moreover, the saturation magnetization (Ms) of MoS_2@Fe_3O_4@PANI composite is 28.1 emu/g. The maximum reflection loss of MoS_2@Fe_3O_4@PANI composites with 2.3 mm coating thickness is -40.97 dB at 10.06 GHz and the bandwidth of reflection loss less than -15 dB is 4 GHZ (8.2-12.2 GHz), which demonstrates MoS_2@Fe_3O_4@PANI composites possess excellent microwave absorption properties.
